There are many kinds of affiliate marketing. All types are covered by two fundamental classifications. This is pay / click, pay / performance.
Pay per Click Also referred to as PPC.
It is regarded as the simplest and most common technique of marketing affiliates. For tiny websites, this is the biggest thing. The affiliate marketer places merchants ‘ banners and text advertisements on its website using this technique. For each click produced on these banners, the affiliate is charged. The affiliate is credited when any visitor clicks on these banners and visits the merchant’s website. Visitors don’t need to make a purchase. The typical single-click earnings, however, are very low, generally less than a dollar.

Pay per Performance.
Pay per performance affiliate marketing, also known as PPC, is highly well known among large subsidiaries and merchants of all kinds. In this method, the affiliate will only be credited if the required action is carried out by any visitor from their affiliate I d. This intervention may be a purchase or a merchant’s website member. This technique is very useful for merchants because only when they are paid will they pay. It’s appealing for subsidiaries because they get a decent share of merchant product sales. The usual share of sales is approximately 15-20 percent.
If, on the grounds of depth, we classify the affiliate marketing, it can be split into 3 groups. These are programs that are single, two-tier and multi-tier. Another sort is the one in which an affiliate marketer is paid for each purchase produced by an individual to whom he refers. This is called marketing of the remaining revenue affiliate. Let’s study in detail these types.
Marketing affiliates: 1-Tier, 2-Tier & Multi-Tier.
In a single-tier affiliate program, the affiliates only receive the commission for the traffic or sales of the visitor to the merchant’s website. This category includes pay per performance and pay per click.
Speaking of Two-tier marketing, the affiliate receives the commission for every action that the visitors it refers to take. Plus he receives the profit whenever he receives the commission from some other affiliate, referred to by him. So affiliate earns both directly and indirectly in this manner.
Marketing of multiple levels is the same as the marketing of two levels. But in this form, the affiliates receive multi-level commission for the sales produced by their subsidiaries. This type’s depth can be unlimited.
Marketing of residual income.
In this form of marketing, affiliates receive a commission for each purchase made on the merchant’s website by their referred individual. The only requirement is that the person should come from the affiliate’s affiliate link on the first time visit. Next time the affiliate will be paid for every purchase produced by the customer if the same individual visits the merchant website, even without using the affiliate link. The question is how the merchant knows the Id of the affiliate. It’s a very easy response. A cookie will be created on the visitor’s computer on the person’s first visit from the affiliate website.
Usually this cookie expires after 3 months. It might be longer in some instances. Whenever a visitor visits the merchant’s website, the visitor’s computer is inspected for any cookie that has been produced earlier. The affiliate I d will be obtained from it if the cookie is discovered and the affiliate will be credited for any purchase produced by the visitor.
